Sep 2nd, 08 - TITANS ANNOUNCE 2009 SEASON SCHEDULE
The New York Titans have announced their 2009 16-game season schedule with eight home games and eight away. This season’s schedule will feature key matchups against 2008 NLL Champs the Buffalo Bandits, who eliminated the Titans in the Eastern Division Finals last year and a game against the Minnesota Swarm, who the Titans overcame at the Xcel Energy Center in the first round of the playoffs last season.

Aug 21st, 08 - WAVING FAREWELL TO AN NLL GREAT
There was no press conference, no hoopla, and certainly no retiring, then un-retiring (cue Brett Favre), but almost immediately following the 2008 season, Titans forward Jeff Ratcliffe -one of the most uniquely offensively skilled lacrosse players in the NLL- decided to call it quits.

Jun 30th, 08 - TITANS PICK UP JAMIE ROONEY
The National Lacrosse League held a dispersal draft Monday afternoon to disperse the now defunct Arizona Sting's players. The Titans were awarded the 10th pick in the draft and picked up Jamie Rooney, a second-year player who scored 20 goals and notched 23 assists in 15 games with the Philadelphia Wings this past season.

May 10th, 08 - TITANS RUN ENDS IN BUFFALO
The New York Titans' incredible run came to an end Saturday night, when the Buffalo Bandits defeated them 19-12 in the Eastern Conference Finals. In only their second season in existence, the Titans made their first appearance in the playoffs finishing the season with a 10-6 record and then barreling past Minnesota to secure a place in the Eastern Conference Finals. Prior to Saturday's game, the Titans had won five straight games with the help of a hot offense and stellar goaltending by Matt Vinc.

May 8th, 08 - MUELLER NAMED NLL "COACH OF THE YEAR"
New York Titans head coach Adam Mueller was given the "Les Bartley Award" for Coach of the Year by the National Lacrosse League today. In only their second season in the NLL, Mueller has led the upstart New York Titans to a 10-6 regular season record and their first ever appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals to take place this Saturday.

May 1st, 08 - NEXT STOP BUFFALO!
In the first round of the NLL Eastern Conference playoffs, the New York Titans ousted Minnesota from the play-offs with an 11-8 victory over the Swarm at the Xcel Energy Center Saturday night. New York will pack their bags for Buffalo when they meet them in the second round of the NLL playoffs on Saturday, May 10 at 7:30pm at HSBC Arena.

Apr 26th, 08 - TITANS CLINCH!
In the do-or-die final match of the New York Titans’ 2008 season, the Titans clinched their first ever spot in the NLL playoffs when they downed the defending champion Rochester Knighthawks’ 12-11 Saturday night at the Garden, eliminating the Knighthawks from the post season.

Apr 24th, 08 - TITANS HOST ARMY V. NAVY HEROES CUP
The New York Titans are proud to announce that the Titans will host the first annual "Heroes Cup" featuring Army vs. Navy on Saturday, April 26. The "Heroes Cup" begins at 5:30pm followed by an 8pm start time for the Titans’ final game of the 2008 regular season. The Titans battle the defending champion Rochester Knighthawks.

Apr 19th, 08 - TITANS GROUND WINGS WITH 11-8 VICTORY
The New York Titans dealt the Philadelphia Wings their first home loss of the season with a 11-8 victory Saturday night at the Wachovia Center. The win brings the Titans record to 9-6 as they prepare to take on the Rochester Knighthawks at the Garden on Saturday, April 26th for the last game of the regular season. The Titans would automatically clinch the fourth playoff spot if they win their game against Rochester next Saturday.

The New York Titans of the National Lacrosse League plowed over the Colorado Mammoth - the best of the West, and the only team in the NLL to have clinched a playoff berth - in their first meeting in franchise history, notching a 14-10 victory. Apr 8th, 08 - HELMET WORN BY VINC AUCTIONED FOR CHARITY
A custom helmet worn by Titans goalie Matt Vinc in honor of NLL legend Les Barltey was auctioned off Saturday, April 4 at the Air Canada Center before the Rock home game against the Rochester Knighthawks along with a custom mask worn by Rock goalie Bob Watson. The helmet sold for $650 and was donated to Les's Fund - Lacrosse Fans Fighting Cancer.

Apr 5th, 08 - TITANS DEFEATED BY SWARM
The New York Titans of the National Lacrosse League were defeated 12-9 by the Minnesota Swarm at the Xcel Energy Center Saturday night, bringing their record to 6-6. The Titans next game takes place at home at the Garden on Saturday, April 12 versus the Colorado Mammoth at 8pm. It will be their first game back at home since their overtime win over the Buffalo Bandits on February 10.

Mar 22nd, 08 - TITANS DOWN FIRST PLACE PHILLY 20-13
Casey Powell and Ryan Boyle scored four goals a piece in the New York Titans 20-13 victory over the Philadelphia Wings on Saturday March 22 at Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, NJ. The Titans are only the second team this season to defeat the first place Wings. The win brings the Titans' record to 6-5.

Feb 14th, 08 - JARETT PARK EARNS TRANSITION PLAYER OF THE WEEK
The New York Titans' Jarett Park was named NLL Transition Player of the Week. The 25-year-old right-hander scooped a season-high 19 loose balls and scored a goal in the Titans' 10-9 overtime win over Buffalo on Sunday at Madison Square Garden. Park also recorded 12 loose balls in New York's 16-9 loss at Minnesota on Friday.

Jan 16th, 08 - TITANS HOME OPENER TONIGHT!!
The New York Titans take on the San Jose Stealth at their 2008 season Home Opener at Madison Square Garden on Thursday, January 31 at 7:30pm. It will be a special night for the Titans. Preceding before the home opener, the Titans are hosting the First Annual Mayor's Cup FDNY-NYPD Indoor Lacrosse Challenge at 5:30pm. The Titans are also welcoming rock band Bang Camaro to play during the Titans warm-up at half time. Last, but not least, the Titans have declared their home opener "Eli Appreciation Night". The Titans will grant free admission to all fans with the first name "Eli" in honor of the Giants QB.

Apr 18th, 07 - ZASH CAPTURES ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
New York Titans forward Matt Zash was named the Rookie of the Week after leading the Titans to a 12-11 victory over the Toronto Rock at Air Canada Centre on Saturday. Zash scored four goals and two assists for six points, including two power play goals, and collected three loose balls in the victory.
